![]() ![]() I think the result is pretty bad, at least as far as transferring an actual style. It contains only two i-frames and the rest are p-frames. Let me know if I'm barking up the wrong tree or if someone has already tried this. My guess is that I will have to get cozy with ffmpeg and possibly a hex editor. I poked around a little with ffmpeg but I couldn't see any way to insert I-frames without it reencoding the entire video, which would ruin the effect. I have played around with Avidemux and I know how to get the frames out and edited but as far as I can tell, there is no way to add them back in using Avidemux. The idea is that the p-frames will move the data from the edited i-frame using the original motion. Then I would re-insert the frames into the video in the same place they came out. Then I would edit those frames in my chosen style using Gimp. I want to go through a video and pull out all the I-frames. It seems like it should work but I can't find any easy way to do what I need. I have tried EBSynth and I like the results but am curious how datamoshing compares as a style transfer tool. I'd like to use datamoshing for style transfer. ![]()
